March 21, 2004, for the first time, Astral Plane - a pioneer of Philadelphia's
restaurant renaissance in the 1970's- will participate with owner Reed
Apaghian, and Executive Chef Tom Boyer in planning a multimedia Art
in Food/Food in Art event featuring recreations from author Frank Fedele's
"The Artist's Palate" cookbook. Sponsored by "The Book
and the Cook" 2004, Astral Plane will serve an evening of dishes
from The Artist's Palate; Cooking with the World's Great Artists. The
following recreations of the world's great artist's authentic favorite
recipes will be served.
